Come take an underground sapphire mine tour and learn how to find sapphire in the ancient river bed. See the small mine shafts that the early miners crawled through. Then, do it the easy way - buy a bucket of sapphire bearing 'wash' and fossick for your own stone.
Open 7 days from 9am until 5pm, no bookings are required. Browse through our new jewellery store or watch sapphires being cut. This is called faceting.
There's plenty of room to picnic, so make a day of it.
